CHARLESTON – A Kanawha County woman is suing St. Francis Hospital over claims of injuries after a fall she had when she stepped on an uneven surface at the facility’s sidewalk.
Diana Bsharah filed a lawsuit against Charleston Hospital Inc., doing business as St. Francis Hospital, on Sept. 4 in the Kanawha Circuit Court, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, on or about Sept. 5, 2013, she exited St. Francis Hospital, where she allegedly fell and sustained a concussion, broken wrist as well as a sprained/strained elbow and wrist. She claims that she suffered emotional and mental distress, as well as mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life and loss of future income.
Bsharah, who seeks to be fully and fairly compensated for all the injuries she suffered, is represented by Michael L. Myers of Myers and Perfater in Charleston. The case has been assigned to Circuit Court Judge Carrie L. Webster.
