Gilmer Co. man sues Eagle Oil Field Services Inc. over unlawful termination claims

GLENVILLE – A Gilmer County resident has filed a suit against his former employer to contest his termination.

Steve Husk filed a lawsuit against Eagle Oil Field Services Inc. and Bobbi Nicholson on Sept. 23 in Gilmer Circuit Court, alleging that on April 20 he was unlawfully terminated by the defendants in violation of the West Virginia Human Rights Act.

According to the complaint, Husk believes his termination is a result of his disability and the defendants' failure to accommodate him.

Husk is seeking, lost wages, future wages, punitive damages and attorney fees. He is represented by Mark A. Atkinson and John-Mark Atkinson of Atkinson & Polak and by Robert B. Warner of Warner Law Offices, both of Charleston.
