Former Meadow Bridge Sanitary District official seeks old job

Fired from job

FAYETTEVILLE – The former vice chairman of the Meadow Bridge Sanitary District has filed a suit in an attempt to get his job back.

Dwayne Coles filed a suit in Fayette Circuit Court against the town of Meadow Bridge, Mayor Timothy Killen, the city recorder and council members in an attempt to regain his position.

The plaintiff was terminated Sept. 21 via a letter and allegedly without explanation. He had held the position since 2009 allegedly without incident or malfeasance.

Coles is seeking reinstatement, the return of his keys to the facility, and the return of the books, papers and documents that come with his office. He is represented by Lewisburg attorney Barry Bruce.
