Dingess Transport accused of defaulting on worker comp insurance payments

PHILIPPI, W.V. -- An insurance company recently sued a Belington, West Virginia trucking company over allegations that it defaulted on installment payments for worker compensation insurance premiums.

Farm Family Casualty Insurance Company filed a collection action in the Circuit Court of Barbour, West Virginia on Sept. 28 alleging Dingess Transport, Inc., was in arrears on its account with the company.

The plaintiff is seeking $18,654.59 plus 7 percent interest and the costs of litigation. The plaintiff is represented by Steven M. Recht of Recht Law Offices in Weirton, West Virginia.
