Fayette Co. man accuses Little Caesars of wrongful termination

Littlecaesars

FAYETTEVILLE – A Fayette County man has sued his former employer over allegations of unlawful termination.

Jeremy J. Wriston filed a lawsuit in Fayette Circuit Court against Little Caesars Pizza, where he had been employed since December 2013, alleging that managers acted negligently and recklessly, leading to his unlawful termination.

Wriston was on a weeklong medical leave starting on June 2 after having oral surgery. Upon his return to work, his hours allegedly were lessened until he was eventually removed from the work schedule and fired.

Wriston requests compensation for lost wages, emotional distress, attorney fees and any further relief that the court may find appropriate. The plaintiff is represented by Richard W. Walters of the firm Shaffer & Shaffer, PLLC in Charleston, West Virginia. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Paul M. Blake, Jr.
