CHARLESTON — West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey says a consumer representative from his office will conduct mobile office hours during December throughout four local counties.
The office representative will educate consumers on the latest scams in their area and provide them with tips on how to protect their personal information.
Andrea Lannom, a consumer outreach and compliance specialist with the office, will host the mobile office hours, which are scheduled below:
Dec. 1: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Putnam County Library, 4219 State Route 34, Hurricane
Dec. 2: 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the Cabell County Circuit Court, 750 5th Ave., Huntington
Dec. 2: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Underwood Senior Center, 632 9th Ave., Huntington
Dec. 2: 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Cabell County Public Library, 455 9th St., Huntington
Dec. 3: 10 a.m.– 11 a.m. at Kanawha County Courthouse, 409 Virginia St. East, Charleston
Dec. 4: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. First State Bank, 3754 Teays Valley Rd., Hurricane
Dec. 7: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Bison Senior Center, 330 Buffalo Creek Rd., Kenova
Dec. 8: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Huntington Mall, 500 Mall Rd., Barboursville

“Mobile office hours are a great way for consumers to speak with office representatives about specific concerns, prevalent scams or general questions.” Morrisey said. “We encourage people to take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about consumer protection issues affecting their areas and how they can help protect their personal information.”
The mobile office hours are open to the public; reservations are not required.
