Jefferds alleges L & L Concrete Construction owes money for services

Heavyequipment

PHILIPPI – A West Virginia heavy equipment sale and leasing company is suing a West Virginia construction company and its owner over an unpaid balance for services.

Jefferds Corp. filed a lawsuit May 22 in Barbour Circuit Court against L & L Concrete Construction and Stephen J. Tilson, individually and doing business as L & L Concrete, alleging breach of contract.

Jefferds provided heavy equipment rental and/or repair services to the defendants from June 2014 to September 2014, in a series of transactions, the complaint states.

The suit states the defendants have failed and refused to pay for the equipment rental and repair services, and now owe a principal sum of $15,894.52.

Jefferds seeks to recover the stated amount, plus accumulating interests, attorney fees, and costs of the suit. Jefferds is represented by attorney Ryan S. Marsteller of Bailes, Craig & Yon in Huntington. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Alan D. Moats.
