Kroger allegedly to blame for woman's injuries in fall

LOGAN — A woman is suing a national grocery chain after she allegedly tripped over a protruding object in one of its stores and fell.

Anna Runyon filed a complaint on Dec. 21 in the Logan Circuit Court against Kroger Limited Partnership LP alleging negligence.

Runyon was in a Kroger store in Logan County in September 2014 when she fell inside the store and suffered multiple injuries. Runyon is suing the store for negligence, alleging management failed to keep the store clear of   dangerous objects and safe.

Runyon is seeking compensation for damages suffered, both financial and physical, as well as legal fees. She is being represented by Steven S. Wolfe of the Wolf Law Office PLLC in Logan.
