Wheelingisland

WHEELING – A Florida woman is suing Wheeling Island Gaming Inc. after she claims she was injured while at its gaming facility.

On July 11, 2014, Jessica Davidson was at the defendant’s business as a customer/patron when she slipped and fell on an unmaintained/unsafe walkway surface, according to a complaint filed in Ohio Circuit Court.

Davidson claims she suffered serious injuries, damages and losses from the fall.

Wheeling had a duty to exercise reasonable care for the safety of its customers and breached this duty, according to the suit.

Davidson claims the defendant had a duty to inspect, monitor, make safe, remedy, repair, manage, operate and/or maintain all areas of the property and had actually and/or constructive notice and knowledge of the unsafe conditions.

Wheeling carelessly and negligently failed to exercise their duty of reasonable care for the safety of Davidson and failed to do so, according to the suit.

Davidson claims she suffered serious and life altering injuries as a result of the negligent, hazardous, dangerous, unsafe and defective condition.

Davidson is seeking compensatory damages. She is being represented by Ronald W. Zavolta and Jordan M. Laird of Zavolta Law Office.
