Sunbelt Equipment claims Pipeline Energy owes sum for leased equipment

WEST UNION – A Texas equipment company is suing a Tennessee company over claims it has failed to pay sums owed for equipment provided.

Sunbelt Equipment Marketing filed a lawsuit Jan. 7 in Doddridge Circuit Court against Pipeline Energy Group, alleging breach of contract.

The suit states Sunbelt Equipment leased equipment to Pipeline Energy and that it has allegedly failed and refused to pay the amount owed, despite demand from Sunbelt Equipment.

Sunbelt Equipment seeks actual damages, interests, attorneys' fees and costs of the suit. The plaintiff is represented by attorneys Michael R. Proctor and Alex M. Greenberg of Dinsmore & Shohl in Morgantown. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Timothy L. Sweeney.
