CHARLESTON – An employee is suing Charleston Newspapers after he claims it discriminates against employees based on their race and sex.

Kenneth M. Anderson claims he and other black men are assigned to the most menial jobs, according to a complaint filed in Kanawha Circuit Court.

Helen Parson, the forelady, assigns jobs and duties based on race and sex, according to the suit.
