Man accuses driver of negligence over rear-end crash on U.S. Route 250

MOUNDSVILLE – A Marshall County man is suing a driver who allegedly struck the vehicle in which he was a passenger.

Daniel Stocklask filed a lawsuit on Jan. 29 in Marshall Circuit Court against Lisa Simms, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Stocklask was injured on Feb. 8, 2014 when the GMC Sierra in which he was a passenger was struck from behind by Simms’ vehicle while driving down U.S. Route 250. 

Stocklask seeks compensation for his medical expenses, pain and suffering, mental anguish, and loss of ability to enjoy life. He is represented by attorney Steven T. Taylor of the law firm of Berry, Kessler, Crutchfield, Taylor & Gordon in Moundsville. Judge David W. Hummel Jr. has been assigned to the case.
