BECKLEY — A Raleigh County auto parts distributor is suing a customer to collect money allegedly owed under a credit agreement.

Advance Store Company Inc., doing business as Advance Auto Parts, filed a lawsuit Jan. 28 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Ramey Automotive Group Inc., alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, Advance sold merchandise to Ramey in a series of transactions in May and June of 2014. The suit says Ramey has failed to pay for the goods, totaling $16,310.

Advance Auto Parts seeks recovery of the full amount owed, plus pre- and post-judgment interest and litigation costs. It is represented by attorney Ryan S. Marsteller of Bailes, Craig & Yon PLLC in Huntington.
