Cellphone accessory distributor sues over alleged unpaid debt

KINGWOOD — A Pennsylvania firm is suing a cellphone company over $5,000 in merchandise that allegedly wasn't paid for.

Wireless Xcessories Group Inc. filed a lawsuit Feb. 12 in Preston Circuit Court against Simpson & Simpson Enterprises LLC, alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

According to its website, Wireless Xcessories sells batteries, cases, chargers and Bluetooth devices for cellphones. The suit says Simpson & Simpson (formerly T.S. Cellular)  bought $5,088.85 worth of goods from Wireless Xcessories, but has never paid for the merchandise.

The plaintiff seeks recovery of the full amount of the debt, plus interest accruing at 7 percent annually from July 15, 2015. It is represented by attorney John R. Keating of Amato Keating and Lessa P.C. of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Judge Lawrance S. Miller Jr. is assigned to the case.
