Exotic dancer says patron bit her breast, requiring surgeries

Jills

WHEELING – A dancer at an Ohio County gentleman’s club claims a patron bit her breast, causing injury and requiring extensive medical treatment.

Tina Marie Talbert filed her lawsuit March 2 in Ohio Circuit Court against RMLL Enterprises Inc., doing business as Jill’s Gentleman’s Club. Donald Goddard also is named as a defendant.

Talbert says she was working as an adult entertainer at Jill’s on Sept. 22, 2015. Goddard was a regular customer of the club, and Talbert’s job required her to “attend to patrons needs” in second-floor private rooms.

She claims there was no security measures in place, including monitoring of activities, to protect the entertainers “in a highly charged environment.” She also says Goddard had consumed alcohol at the club before the alleged battery took place in one of the second-floor private rooms.

“Donald Goddard severely bit plaintiff’s breast, tearing said breast apart and requiring numerous surgeries and numerous hospitalizations,” the complaint states. “Goddard unlawfully and intentionally made physical contact with force causing severe injury.”

Talbert says RMLL neglected to provide her with a reasonably safe place in which to work.

“As part of her obligations and duties as an adult entertainer working at Jill’s Gentleman’s Club, (Talbert) was not only required to strip in front of drunken intoxicated men that were served unlimited quantities of alcoholic beverages, she was further required to entertain the adults such as … Goddard in private rooms located on the second floor,” the complaint states. “The private rooms did not contain security or cameras to protect the safety of the plaintiff and/or other girls that were working as exotic dancers.”

Talbert seeks joint and several damages compensatory and punitive damages from RMLL and Goddard.

She is being represented by Wheeling attorneys Don A. Yannarella and Quan S. Le.
