Company accuses customer of contract breach

Overdue notice

WINFIELD — A West Virginia firm is suing a software and engineering company to collect money they allegedly owe under a work agreement.

BPI Inc. filed a lawsuit March 3 in Putnam Circuit Court against Mycom North America Inc., alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the parties entered an agreement whereby Mycom would pay BPI for labor, materials and supplies it sold to Mycom. The suit says Mycom still owes at least $28,646, plus interest at the statutory rate of 7 percent per annum.

BPI seeks the entire amount owed, plus interest, bringing the total to $30,853. In addition, BPI also seeks litigation costs and reimbursement for administrative expenses resulting from the unpaid debt. It is represented by attorney Mary K. Prim of Mary K. Prim PLLC in Scott Depot.

Judge Phillip M. Stowers is assigned to the case.
