Contractor accuses customer of not paying for services

WHEELING – A Ohio County firm is suing a customer over alleged unpaid invoices for construction work.

Tim Templin Trucking & Excavating filed a lawsuit April 7 in Ohio Circuit Court against Ryan E. Slack, doing business as APS Construction & Consulting Inc., alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, Templin’s firm performed concrete demolition and removal services and supplied materials on a project for Slack between April 3-July 8, 2015. The suit claims none of the work was paid for, despite requests for payment. The plaintiff claims $16,390 is owed toward six invoices.

Templin Trucking seeks recovery of the entire unpaid amount, plus interest and litigation costs. It is represented by attorney Melvin W. Kahle Jr. of Schrader Byrd & Companion PLLC in Wheeling.
