PINEVILLE – A Wyoming County couple's lawsuit seeks an order evicting the husband’s ex-wife from a mobile home located on their property.

Anna Hatfield, individually and for her husband, Johnny L. Hatfield, filed a lawsuit April 29 in Wyoming Circuit Court against Lisa M. Hatfield Elswick.

According to the complaint, after Johnny and Lisa ended their 12-year marriage in 2008, he allowed Lisa and their two children to live in a 1998 Clayton mobile home where they had lived when married. Now confined to a wheelchair as a result of three strokes suffered in 2014, the suit says, Johnny wants to live in the mobile home because it is roomy enough to accommodate his wheelchair. However, Anna Hatfield refuses to leave the property.

Anna Hatfield seeks an order evicting Lisa Elswick when the school term is complete and recovery of litigation costs. She is represented by attorney Jerry M. Lyall of the Lyall Law Office in Williamson.

Judge Warren McGraw is assigned to the case.
