Michigan firm accuses company of failing to settle account

Contract 10

BECKLEY – A Michigan company is suing a customer that allegedly purchased goods without paying for them.

Brown Campbell Co. filed a lawsuit April 26 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Triples S Corp., alleging breach of contract. According to the complaint, Brown Campbell sold Triple S Corp. six items in August and September of 2013, totaling $12,598. To date, however, the suit says no payments have been received against this amount, despite collection efforts.

The plaintiff seeks recovery of the full amount allegedly owed, plus 7 percent interest accruing from Jan. 9, 2015 and litigation costs. It is represented by attorney John R. Keating of Amato Keating and Lessa P.C. in Beckley.

Judge H. L. Kirkpatrick III is assigned to the case.
