WINFIELD – A Putnam County man is suing his former employer, claiming he was wrongfully fired from his job.
Melvin Sharp filed a lawsuit May 2 in Putnam Circuit Court against North American Industrial Services Group Inc. and supervisor John H. Grace Jr., alleging wrongful termination.
According to the complaint, North American Industrial Services Group, headquartered in Ballston Spa, N.Y., employed Sharp at their industrial maintenance facility in Hurricane.
Sharp seeks a jury trial and reimbursement for lost wages, emotional pain and suffering, and litigation costs. He is represented by attorney Amy C. Crossan of Bouchillon, Crossan & Colburn L.C. in Huntington.
Judge Joseph Reeder is assigned to the case.
