Company accuses customer of owing $2K for unpaid merchandise

CHARLESTON – A California-based firm is suing a Charleston business for allegedly failing to pay for over $2,000 worth of goods it obtained from the plaintiff.

PPG Industries Inc. filed a lawsuit April 25 in Kanawha Circuit Court against McJunkin Corp., alleging breach of contract.


According to the complaint, although McJunkin ordered more than 30 items from PPG Industries from August through November of 2014, the plaintiff claims it still has not received payment for the merchandise.

PPG Industries seeks recovery of the entire amount allegedly owed, $2,413, plus interest at the rate of 7 percent annually accruing from May 31, 2015. It is represented by attorney John R. Keating of Amato Keating and Lessa P.C. in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
