GRAFTON – A Taylor County landlord is suing a tenant to
recover nearly $30,000 in allegedly unpaid rent.
Clarksburg-Terrace Plaza 1989 Limited Partnership filed a
lawsuit May 23 in Taylor Circuit Court against Hank’s Deli LLC, Earl Henry
Soutter and Matthew Sturm, alleging breach of a lease agreement.
According to the complaint, the defendants signed a lease with
Clarksburg-Terrace on Aug. 7, 2009, agreeing to pay $3,000 in monthly rent for
the first five years of the contract. The contract contained a clause allowing
