Man sues Ohio County construction companies for injuries

WHEELING – A man is suing The James White Construction Company and Able Concrete Inc. after he claims he was injured during the course of his employment.

On May 28, 2014, Donald Case was lawfully on the JB Chambers Sports Complex located in East Wheeling and was within the course of his employment as a laborer for White and/or Able, according to a complaint filed May 26 in Ohio Circuit Court.

Case claims he was performing work-related duties at the direction of White and Able while specific unsafe working conditions existed at the job site.

The plaintiff was caused to be injured and incurred expenses for medical care, according to the suit.

Case claims he was injured while moving a concrete straight edge without sufficient personnel/man-power and insufficient, inadequate, improper and/or non-existent safety training, supervision, education, monitoring, equipment and safety precaution as directed, instructed and supervised by White and Able.

Case is seeking compensatory damages. He is being represented by Jacob M. Robinson and Adam M. Hanasky of Robinson Law Offices.
