WINFIELD — A supplier is suing Crete Construction and Development LLC, a construction firm, citing alleged breach of contract and unjust enrichment.
Trinity Rebar and Concrete Supplies LLC filed a complaint on June 13 in Putnam Circuit Court against Crete Construction and Development LLC, alleging that the construction firm failed to comply with the terms and conditions of an agreement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it has suffered monetary damages for not collecting payment for goods delivered to the defendant between July 29, 2015 and Aug. 31, 2015. The plaintiff holds Crete Construction and Development LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly refused to pay all unpaid invoices in the total amount of $6,344.12.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for compensatory damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney fees and costs and for such other relief as the court deems just and proper. It is represented by Timothy D. Houston of Houston Law PLLC in Charleston.
