WINFIELD — A woman is suing Anderson Handyman Services LLC and Gregory Anderson, citing alleged breach of contract, fraud and unjust enrichment.
Lisa Black filed a complaint on June 15 in Putnam Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to comply with their contract agreement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she entered into a contract with the defendants to perform certain maintenance work on her home. She paid an initial deposit and subsequent deposit totaling $12,200, the suit claims, adding that since those payments, non of the work has been performed, causing her to suffer damages. The plaintiff holds Anderson Handyman Services LLC and Gregory Anderson responsible because the defendants allegedly refused to come to her residence to perform the work for which they were contracted and refused to communicate with her.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensation for all damages, attorney's fees, costs and expenses and such other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Timothy J. Lafon of Ciccarello, Del Giudice & Lafon in Charleston.
