MOUNDSVILLE — Two homeowners are suing Quarry Granite Fabrication a/k/a Quarry Granite Fabricators, a granite installer, citing alleged fraudulent misrepresentation.
Stanley Geho and Beth Geho filed a complaint on July 8 in Marshall Circuit Court against the defendant, alleging that the granite installer violated the West Virginia Consumer Credit and Protection Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they suffered monetary expenses to repair the defendant's work, annoyance, inconvenience, anxiety and emotional pain. The plaintiffs hold the defendant responsible because the company allegedly failed to install the granite countertop and sink in a professional, workmanlike manner, failed to show after several appointments and engaged in deceptive and fraudulent curing practices.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant for compensatory damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney fees, costs and any other relief the court deems proper. They are represented by Shane M. Mallett of Mallett Law Offices in Wheeling.
