WEBSTER SPRINGS — A rental equipment provider is suing Versitech Inc., an insulation company, citing alleged breach of contract and unjust enrichment.
B.E.T. Ltd. d/b/a Bridgeport Equipment & Tools filed a complaint on July 18 in Webster Circuit Court against Versitech Inc., alleging that the insulation company failed to pay for materials and rentals used.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in March, the plaintiff entered into several contracts with the defendant for rental of various equipment and purchase of parts used in the defendant's business. The plaintiff allegedly has suffered damages for not collecting payment in an amount totaling $6,810.91. The plaintiff holds Versitech Inc. responsible because despite repeated demands, defendant allegedly failed to remit payment for the balance due and owing.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for the unpaid balance of $6,810.91, post-judgment interest, costs for this action and such other relief as the court deems appropriate. It is represented by Gerald E. Loftstead, III of Spilman Thomas & Battle PLLC in Wheeling.
