Ohio County resident accuses contractors of property damage
WHEELING — A homeowner is suing Randall J. Dlesk, Sr. John James Inc. and Herr LLC, contractors, citing alleged fraudulent inducement and fraud.
Michael Klein filed a complaint on July 25, in the Ohio Circuit Court against the defendants alleging that they violated the Consumer Credit Protection Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, in July 23, 2014, he was solicited by defendants for budget interiors to reface his kitchen for $6,200. As a result of defendants negligence, he suffered damages to his kitchen, including but not limited to electrical outlets and walls. The plaintiff holds Randall J. Dlesk, Sr. John James Inc. and Herr LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly negligently hired and retained unqualified sub-contractors to work in his kitchen and failed to work in a workmanlike fashion.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants, jointly and severally, for compensatory damages, punitive damages, attorney's fees, costs and expenses, pre- and post-judgment interest and any other relief that may be available under the law. He is represented by Ronald Wm Kasserman of Kasserman Law Offices PLLC in Wheeling.
