Lighting platforms maker says it's owed money

Late 01

WINFIELD — A lighting platforms manufacturer is suing Sun Control Inc., an energy management firm, citing alleged failure to pay.

Orion Energy Systems Inc. filed a complaint on July 25 in Putnam Circuit Court against Sun Control Inc., alleging that the energy management firm failed to comply with their agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in January and February 2015, it sold and delivered goods to the defendant in the total amount of $34,275.46, including interest. The plaintiff holds Sun Control Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay for the goods and services provided by the plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of $34,275.46, plus post-judgment interest, attorney's fees and costs and any other relief the court deems appropriate. It is represented by Ryan S. Masteller of Bailes, Craig & Yon PLLC in Huntington.
