Stone Street Capital files petition for funds transfer

Law money 07

BECKLEY – A limited liability company is requesting the court's approval of a transfer of structured settlement payment rights.

Stone Street Capital LLC filed a petition for a structured payment by Chuck Taylor Wiseman in Raleigh Circuit Court. Other parties involved include American General Annuity Service Corporation, the obligator, and American General Life Insurance Company, the issuer, both from Houston.

The suit states that Wiseman receives tax-free payments from a structured settlement. Wiseman allegedly entered into an agreement that had American General Annuity Service Corp. make periodic payments to Wiseman. Wiseman allegedly decided to sell a portion of those payments because he needed to pay for property taxes, utility bills, child care and schooling, and has agreed to make 180 monthly payments of $250 from June 25, 2020 through May 25, 2035, to Stone Street.

Stone Street Capital is requesting that the petition be approved. It is represented by Robert L. Bandy of Kay Casto & Chaney PPLC of Charleston. It has been assigned to Circuit Judge Robert A. Burnside Jr.
