Car accident 34

WHEELING — An Ohio County couple is suing a vehicle owner and driver, alleging their negligence led to a crash that injured one of the plaintiffs.

Johanna L. Stiglich and Joseph Stiglich filed a lawsuit Sept. 2 in Ohio Circuit Court against Miranda Robinson and John G. Robinson, alleging John Robinson negligently allowed Miranda Robinson to operate his vehicle.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 2, 2014, Johanna Stiglich was operating a motor vehicle and was stopped at a red light in Ohio County.,The suit says Miranda Robinson's vehicle struck the vehicle immediately behind Stiglich's car, causing it to strike the plaintiff's vehicle.

The lawsuit states the crash caused Stiglich to sustain injuries, pain and suffering that disabled her for several months and incurred medical expenses of more than $31,000. Joseph Stiglich alleges loss of connubial care and companionship.

The plaintiffs allege Miranda Robinson failed to properly operate the vehicle and that Joseph Robinson should have known his wife was a reckless and negligent driver.

The Stigliches seek trial by jury, all damages, plus interest, medical treatment and costs of this action. They are represented by attorney Patricia Valentino Kutsch of Wheeling.
