LOGAN — A Chapmanville Toyota dealership is suing a former employee, alleging failure to comply with contractual obligations.

Ferrell Automotive Group Inc., doing business as Mike Ferrell Toyota, filed a lawsuit in Logan Circuit Court against Eric Rusty Browning of Cross Lanes, alleging breach of agreement.

According to the complaint, Mike Ferrell Toyota made several cash advances to Browning and was made to co-sign a loan at Logan Bank & Trust Co. The suit says the plaintiff suffered financial damages for not collecting payment for the loan and being liable to pay defendant's loan at Logan Bank.

The plaintiff alleges Browning failed to repay his cash advances and failed to discharge his indebtedness that was due and owed to Logan Bank.

Mike Ferrell Toyota seeks trial by jury, damages of $22,965.08, plus interest, attorney fees and costs of court, plus all other relief. He is represented by attorney James A. Walker of Chapmanville.
