LOGAN — A Logan County couple is suing Marshall University and a Logan County hospital, alleging the defendants' negligence led to injuries for the husband.
Robert Bradley and Pamela Bradley filed a lawsuit Nov. 17 in Logan Circuit Court against the Marshall University Board of Governors and Logan General Hospital LLC, alleging the defendants recklessly deviated from the appropriate standards of medical care.
According to the complaint, as a result of defendants' breach of standard of care, Robert Bradley suffered a bilateral above the knee amputation, medical care expenses and other damages that followed his treatment at Logan County Medical Center. The suit says Pamela Bradley has been suffered loss of consortium, society and companionship.
The plaintiffs allege the defendants failed to properly diagnose and treat Robert Bradley's medical condition and failed to provide appropriate post-operative assessment and treatment.
The Bradleys seek trial by jury, judgment against the defendants for a sum that will adequately compensate the plaintiffs' injuries and losses, pre- and post-judgment interest and all other proper relief. They are represented by attorneys Tiano L. O'Dell and Cheryl A Fisher of Tiano O'Dell PLLC in Charleston.
