CHARLESTON — A Kanawha County woman is suing call center operators, alleging hostile work environment and sexual abuse.

Jennifer S. Dozier filed a lawsuit Nov. 18 in Kanawha Circuit Court against CDI Corporation and Charles R. Parks II, alleging violation of the West Virginia Human Rights Act.

According to the complaint, on Nov. 24, 2015, as a result Parks' inappropriate actions, Dozier felt ridiculed, intimidated and insulted. The suit says Dozier also has suffered emotional distress and damages for indignity, humiliation and was forced to cease working and seek other employment.

The plaintiff alleges Parks inappropriate exposed himself to Dozier and CDI negligently hired, promoted and/or retained Parks as its employee, despite having knowledge he intentionally violated the plaintiff's rights.

Dozier seeks trial by jury, judgment, jointly and severally, for damages to be determined by the jury, cost of action and all other proper relief. She is represented by attorneys Shawn R. Romano and Miles B. Berger of Romano & Associates PLLC in Charleston.
