BECKLEY – A shopper alleges a Crab Orchard store's parking lot caused her to fall and injure her face.

Terri L. Farley filed a complaint on Dec. 2 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Little General Store Inc. alleging breach of duty.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 3, she was walking toward the entrance of defendant's store when she stepped into a damaged portion of the parking lot, which caused her to stumble and fall face first to the ground. As a result, she alleges sustained severe injuries. The plaintiff holds Little General Store Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to eliminate any hazards on its property and failed to place warning signs on the subject damaged area.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages and all other damages, attorney's fees and costs and any other just and proper relief. She is represented by Kyle R. Salyer of Salyer Law Office PLLC in Paintsville, Kentucky.
