Pennsylvania supplier alleges drilling company owes nearly $300,000

BECKLEY — A Pennsylvania supplier is suing a Beckley drilling service, alleging the defendant owes nearly $300,000 in breaching a purchase agreement.

Wampum Hardware Co. of New Galilee, Pennsylvania, filed a complaint Dec. 12 in the Raleigh Circuit Court against Beckley Drilling & Blasting Services Inc. alleging failure to to perform its obligations under a purchase agreement.

According to the complaint, between April 9-Nov. 10, 2015, Wampum Hardware provided explosive products and services to Beckley Drilling pursuant to the defendant's credit application completed Aug. 14, 2014. To date, the suit says, the amount of $298,462.06 remains unpaid. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendant has failed and refuses to make timely payments for its purchases as they became due.

Wampum Hardware seeks trial by jury, judgment of $298,462.06, plus interest, costs of court and all other just relief. It is represented by attorney W. Scott Stinnett of Lloyd & McDaniel PLC in Louisville, Kentucky.
