WAYNE — A Huntington woman is suing Ceredo salon operators, alleging the defendants' negligence led to a fall and injuries for the plaintiff.

Tamara Sue Lucas filed a complaint Nov. 7 in Wayne Circuit Court against Stopher's Salon, Nini's Salon, Craig Ullom and Marjean Ullom, doing business as Ceredo Town Shops, alleging violation of commonly accepted and well-known safety standards within their industry.

According to the complaint, on Nov. 7, 2014, Lucas was a customer at the defendants' salon in Ceredo. While entering the store with uneven steps, the suit says, Lucas was thrown to the ground causing her to sustain injuries.

The lawsuit states the fall resulted in physical and mental pain, loss of enjoyment in life and medical expenses. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to provide a safe environment and negligently created the unsafe condition.

The plaintiff seeks trial by jury, judgment in excess of the jurisdictional limits of the court, plus interest and costs of court. She is represented by attorney Donald R. Jarrell of Wayne.
