Travelers alleges steam cleaning service failed to fulfill contract

BECKLEY — Travelers insurance company is suing a Bradley steam cleaning and sand blasting business, alleging it owes nearly $47,000 for breach of contract.

Travelers Property Casualty Company of America filed a lawsuit Dec. 28 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Superior Steam Cleaning & Sand Blasting Inc., alleging failure to perform its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, as a result of Superior's actions, Travelers has suffered monetary losses for not receiving payment for the premium of $46,924. The plaintiff alleges Superior has failed and refuses to pay all earned premiums for the extension of insurance coverage.

Travelers seeks trial by jury, judgment for $46,924, plus continuing interest, costs of court and all other proper relief. It is represented by attorney John R. Keating of Amato Keating and Lessa PC in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
