BECKLEY — A Coal City couple is suing Ford, alleging breach of implied and express warranties.
Charles A. Morris and Traci Morris filed a lawsuit Jan. 12 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Ford Motor Company, alleging failure to comply with the West Virginia New Motor Vehicle Warranties Law.
According to the complaint, on June 2, 2016, the Morrises purchased a new 2016 Ford F250 for $56,266.95. After purchase, the suit says, the plaintiffs experienced non-conformities with the vehicle, which substantially impaired its use, value and safety.
The plaintiffs alleges Ford Motor failed to repair the vehicle in a good and workmanlike manner so as to bring it into conformity with its warranties.
The Morrises seek trial by jury, cancellation of the contract by rejection, rescission or revocation of acceptance, damages, attorney fees, costs of court, interest and all other appropriate relief. They are represented by attorney Christina Gill Roseman of Roseman Law Firm PLLC in Pittsburgh.
