Ohio County contractor alleges health groups breached contract

WHEELING — An Ohio County contractor is suing health care businesses, alleging breach of contract.

H.E. Neumann Company filed a lawsuit Jan. 23 in Ohio Circuit Court against Ohio Valley Health Services and Education Corp., Ohio Valley Medical Center Inc., and East Ohio Regional Hospital at Martins Ferry, alleging failure to perform their contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, in 2016, H.E. Neumann provided labor and materials in connection with the HVAC and plumbing improvements at the defendants' facilities. To date, the suit says, the defendants have not paid $81,346.97. 

H.E. Neumann seeks trial by jury, judgment, jointly and severally in the amount of $81,346.97, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs and all other proper relief.
