Security systems provider alleges contractors, project owner breached agreement

WHEELING — A Pennsylvania security systems provider is suing contractors and a project owner, alleging breach of agreement and unjust enrichment.

Guardian Protection Services Inc. of Warrendale, Pennsylvania, filed a complaint Jan. 25 in Ohio Circuit Court against GL Housing Construction LLC, Joseph Bobeck Sr. and Arbors of Windsor Manor LLC, alleging failure to to perform their obligations under the agreement.

According to the complaint, on April 1, 2015, the defendants contracted with Guardian Protection for the installation of fire alarm system and fire detection and suppression equipment at Windsor Manor Apartments in Wheeling for $139,735. To date, the balance of $62,064.28 remains unpaid,the suit says. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendants have failed and refused to make payments for the balance that remains due.

Guardian Protection Services seeks trial by jury, compensatory damages, costs of court, attorney fees and interest and all other just and proper relief. It is represented by attorneys Jennifer K. Mason and Monica S. Walaan of Clark Hill PLC in Morgantown.
