WHEELING — A state banking corporation is suing a weapons training company, alleging breach of contract.

Westbanco Bank Inc. filed a complaint Feb. 20 in Ohio Circuit Court against Meggitt Training Systems Inc., alleging the defendant has defaulted on its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, between Nov. 17, 2014, and Dec. 29, 2015, Westbanco's borrower supplied certain materials to Meggitt Training totaling $206,097.48. To date, the suit says, this amount remains due and unpaid.

The plaintiff alleges despite repeated and proper demands for payment, Meggitt Training has failed to make any payment for all amounts due and owing.

Westbanco Bank seeks trial by jury, judgment for $206,097.48, plus interest, costs of court and and all other just and reasonable relief. It is represented by attorneys Denise Knouse-Snyder and Jeffrey D. Kaiser of Phillips, Gardill, Kaiser & Altmeyer PLLC in Wheeling.
