NEW CUMBERLAND — An insurance company is suing a Weirton woman, alleging breach of contract.
Westfield Group Insurance filed a complaint Feb. 7 in Hancock Circuit Court against Melissa Anderson, doing business as a Husband 4 Hire, alleging she failed to provide good service to clients as should be expected.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff's insured client, Vapour Jet, contracted Husband 4 Hire to perform construction services. On behalf of Vapour Jet, the suit says, Westfield Group paid the defendant $13,991.88. The plaintiff alleges Husband 4 Hire negligently and unsatisfactorily performed construction services.
Westfield Group seeks trial by jury, payment of $13,991.88, pre-judgment and post-judgment interest, legal fees, court costs and all other proper relief. It is represented by attorney Clinton W. Smith of Charleston.
