Steel business alleges Wheeling company failed to pay for products

WHEELING — A Michigan steel services business is suing a Wheeling company, alleging failure to pay for delivered products and unjust enrichment.

Contractors Steel Company of Livonia, Michigan, filed a complaint Feb. 13 in Ohio Circuit Court against Ohio Valley Fabrication & Energy Services Inc., alleging failure to fulfill obligations under the agreement.

According to the complaint, upon Ohio Valley's request, Contractors Steel sold certain goods and services to the defendant. After all proper credits for payments and returned merchandise, the suit says, amount of $24,245.72 remains unpaid. 

The plaintiff alleges despite its demand for payment, Ohio Valley Fabrication has failed and refused to make payments for the amount.

Contractors Steel seeks trial by jury, judgment for $24,245.72, plus interest, attorney fees of at least $4,849.14, costs of court and all other relief. It is represented by attorneys John R. Keating of Amato Keating and Lessa PC in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
