PRINCETON — A Mercer County woman is suing the administrator of an estate, alleging negligence led to injuries for the plaintiff.

Pauline M. Blubaugh filed a complaint Feb. 13 in Mercer Circuit Court against Tommy Bailey, as administrator of the estate of Stuart C. Waddell, deceased, alleging Waddell, by and through his representatives and/or employees failed to properly maintain a safe premises.

According to the complaint, on Oct 12, 2015, Blubaugh was walking upon her property when she tripped and fell on a defect on the floor, causing her to suffer a torn meniscus and lacerated spleen, both requiring surgical correction and medical expenses of more than $30,000. The plaintiff alleges Waddell, by and through his representatives and/or employees, caused numerous trip hazards throughout the property due to faulty construction.

Blubaugh seeks trial by jury, compensatory damages that will fully compensate her for the injuries she sustained. She is represented by attorney William Flanigan of Sanders, Austin & Flanigan in Princeton.
