WHEELING — A Wellsburg woman is suing a Valley Grove business, alleging the defendant's negligence caused the plaintiff to suffer injuries.

Cynthia Provenzano filed a complaint Feb. 21 in Ohio Circuit Court against Bud & Darl Inc. alleging breach of duty to exercise ordinary care to protect the plaintiff from injury.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 23, 2015, Provenzano was delivering equipment at Bud & Darl's property in Valley Grove when she slipped and fell on ice in the parking lot. The suit says the fall caused her to sustain injuries to her left elbow, left wrist and left shoulder.

The plaintiff alleges Bud & Darl failed to keep its premises reasonably safe.

Provenzano seeks trial by jury, compensatory damages, plus interest and court costs and all other just relief. She is represented by attorneys Quan S. Le of Wheeling, and by Don A. Yannerella, also of Wheeling.
