Medical malpractice 05

CHARLESTON — A husband and wife are suing Drs. Timothy Conner and Jaime Salvator, who are radiologists, alleging that they took insufficient measures to prevent patient injuries and negligence.

Bobbi A. Walker and Ricky Walker filed a complaint on March 13 in the Kanawha Circuit Court against the defendants. alleging that they practiced below the standards of medical care and treatment provided to plaintiff Bobbi Walker.

According to the complaint, as a result of the defendants' negligence in examining the patient, Bobbi Walker's condition went undiagnosed, leading her to suffer severe pain and discomfort for two months. On April 20, 2015, she underwent total hip arthroplasty to correct what was found to be a right hip fracture displacement. The plaintiffs holds Conner and Salvator responsible because the defendants allegedly failed adequately interpret Bobbi Walker's x-ray imaging of Feb. 16, 2015, in a timely way.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek damages in a sum that will adequately compensate them for their damages and such other relief as may be proper. They are represented by Robert V. Berthold Jr. of Berthold Law Firm PLLC in Charleston.
