Wheeling supplier alleges food market owes more than $14,000

WHEELING — A Wheeling supplier is suing a debtor and guarantor, alleging breach of contract.

Chas M. Sledd Company of Wheeling, doing business as Team Sledd Inc., filed a complaint April 17 in Ohio Circuit Court against Fast Food Mart of Flatwood LLC and Herman Patrick, alleging failure to to fulfill their obligations under the terms of a contract.

According to the complaint, Chas M. Sledd sold and delivered certain goods, wares and merchandise to defendants for a fair and reasonable price. 

As of Jan. 15, 2016, the suit says, the balance of $11,767.90 remains due and owing. The plaintiff alleges the defendant has failed to fully pay for the products purchased from the plaintiff.

Chas M. Sledd seeks trial by jury, judgment of $14,385.21, plus continuing interest on the principal balance, attorney fees and costs of court. It is represented by attorney Arch W. Riley Jr. of Burnstein-Burkley PC in Wheeling.
