Engineering business accuses company of contract breach

KEYSER — An engineering business is suing a West Virginia corporation, alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

Rummel, Klepper, and Kahl, LLP, doing business as RK&K Engineers, filed a complaint in Mineral Circuit Court against America's Best Block Inc. and Knudson Systems International, Inc., alleging failure to pay all invoices upon receipt based on their agreement with the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs were damaged financially from having their invoices unpaid. The plaintiffs allege the defendants failed to pay the plaintiff, which is a breach of their contract.

RK&K Engineers seek $51,027.57, interest, attorney fees at one-third of the amount recovered ($12,756.89), and all other just and proper relief. It is represented by attorneys David Collins and Nelson M. Michael of Nelson M. Michael LC in Keyser.
