NEW MARTINSVILLE — A Wetzel County couple is suing a mortgage company, alleging violation of state law.
Anthony R. Thomas and Erica D. Thomas filed a complaint March 13 in Wetzel Circuit Court against Nationstar Mortgage LLC, alleging failure to respond to Snyder & Hassig escrow's offer of April 1, 2016.
According to the complaint, the Thomases were damaged financially because Nationstar Mortgage failed to execute a release upon the request of the party.
The Thomases seek acknowledgement of the receipt of $53,281.25, be authorized to issue a release, court costs and all other relief the court deems just. They are represented by attorney Logan Hassig of Snyder & Hassig in New Martinsville.
